SD1's at Billings 3

The SD-1 for the nineties, note the very clean shape and the very nicely executed flush headlamp arrangement, but where are the flashers?. That bodyside is baby bottom smooth!!!.... a very nice car indeed!!, I know I know not original, so what?, most people loved it!!

Oooooops, now we're talking about serious engine tuning it was rumoured this car equipped with a Sprintex supercharger had 450 Nm of torque.... anyone got more info on this monster!!!?

Mmmm....what's with this picture?....can't see anything wrong with it..... Now wait a moment, let's see That air filter is on the wrong side.....and very strangely shaped....and what's with all that tubing, Wow!...I see it!!....this thing has a twin turbo thrown in!, that helps to explain the heat shielding around the brake reservoir.

It is not only four wheeled Rovers on a meeting, our cars certainly attract more people than us silly people with a certain incurable Rover virus. These guys seemed to love SD1's too,. And it gave them an opportunity to show off their trikes (perhaps that was the main reason?). The one in front had a very nicely detailed Chevy V-8. Come to think of it why not a Rover V-8?....it's so much lighter!, Mmmmmm...on 2nd thought, just look!! It won't steer anyway with that square front wheel, but who cares!!...it looks great)
